About The Artist
Sheryl Blahnik started her journey into the world of art in 1998 when she began taking workshops from her mentor and dear friend, Eloise Ragan; and also from Mary Carole and Gary Jenkins. Sheryl started out her life journey in central Illinois. She relocated with her family to the Wild West in Arizona in 2013 where she started taking seminars from Milan Art Institute and their intensive Artist Mastery Program. Recently, Sheryl has been enjoying classes by expert artist, Bruce Marion.
Sheryl spent 32 years serving a variety of students in higher education as a counselor and later as a dean. Her passion for helping others transformed into her desire to bring a world of color and lightheartedness to others. Sheryl believes that art is to be shared and draws inspiration from the world around her.
Sheryl’s studio is located in her home in Queen Creek, AZ surrounded by a lush yard with a serene water park that inspires her daily. She is blessed to have a supportive husband and daughter; along with her faithful sparks of life, her cocker spaniels; Benny and Sammy. Sheryl loves traveling throughout the US and internationally, exploring all the world has to offer and her travels inspire her to create. Sheryl’s paintings are in many homes throughout the US. Sheryl looks forward to creating works of art to share with everyone!
